HOW IT BEGAN
Leesette has been passionate about lines and letters since she first learnt to write. Both her 1st-, and 10th-grade teachers were calligraphers and she was lucky to be exposed first-hand to the practical use of calligraphy in everyday lettering at a very impressionable age. Leesette has attended courses in calligraphy with both renowned international and South African calligraphers. Her work has been selected for local and international exhibitions. She remains committed to develop her work into an art form that is accessible to everyone and included in many aspects of art and design. Leesette loves teaching and is happy to work with both adults and children.
